About The Emporium Veneta
The Emporium, Veneta was a market born out of necessity in November of 2020.
Many of our artists are members of local and nearby outdoor markets that had closed due to COVID.
We gathered together, leased an empty building for 2 months, filling it with the most amazing handmade art. We had an outstanding 2 months and felt that we had a "proof of concept" to move forward with. From there, we were hosted by our local Grange Hall in Elmira as we searched for a long term lease. The opportunity to lease a former private school, with 3000 square feet of inside space and an equal amount of space outside became available in March of 2021. After 6 weeks of hard work and elbow grease we were able to open in May with a 1 year lease!

Also housed is Nana's Kitchen Konfections, a bakery featuring fresh baked breads and sweet treats. Our outside space allows us to have artist events, art classes, a demonstration medicinal herb garden. In the future we plan on expanding to other mediums, such as live music, food and beverage.
We enjoy a close relationship with our partners at Reinventing Rural, the City of Veneta, Veneta-Fern Ridge Chamber of Commerce, and Lane Arts Council.
Our membership includes artists of all mediums. We are a close knit family, working together encouraging growth in our craft and finding success together.
